While Time Remains by Yeonmi Park book review

I'll start with saying this book deserves 5 stars without question, and more people need to take the time to read it. It's crazy to think at first that she has enough of an argument to compare the USA to North Korea, but after reading this book it becomes very clear.

Yeonmi Park did such a great job putting emphasis on the control China has over the world as well as the current day holocaust that is happening in North Korea. People in the west take for granted the freedom they have and complain about the silliest things.

She also accurately lays out the harmful effects that being "woke" is having and is going to have on our society. This book will really make you feel less alone if you are already thinking that the left has gone too far, with controlling children's education and cancel culture for example. I really appreciate and agree with how Park described cancel culture as being as dangerous as it can get, because not only are you not able to express your opinion with the threat of being "cancelled" they are also trying to control your thoughts. Being cancelled can ultimately lead to losing your career and livelihood if you don't agree with the lefts extreme ways.

Although some may say this book is controversial I completely disagree. I think Park hit it out of the park and would recommend this book to everyone. We do need to take action and stand up to those responsible for cancel culture, the far left, and the government who have a twisted agenda with their desire for control over our children's education and exposure to subjects that children should not be exposed to. I am looking forward to reading her first book In Order To Live.
